Paris to Brussels: 1-Day Tour šŸš„

Travel from Paris to Brussels in a day—it’s easy and relaxing! šŸš‚ Getting There & Back Departure from Paris: Take the Eurostar from Paris Gare Du Nord to Brussels-Midi. Once inside the station, check the display screens to find your platform and board on time. The train looks a bit old from the outside, but the interior facilities are great—there’s charging ports and free WiFi šŸ“¶! Transfer in Brussels: After arriving (1.5 hours later), head to the hall and switch to a local Belgian train to Brussels Central. The ride takes just 4 minutes, and almost every local train’s first stop is Brussels Central—just follow the screens for the next departure. Best of all: your Eurostar ticket covers this local train ride, and there’s usually no ticket check šŸŽ«! Return to Paris: Catch the evening train back—perfect timing to end the day without rushing. šŸš¶šŸ»ā€ā™€ļø Walking Itinerary Brussels Grand Place šŸ° Surrounded by the Town Hall and cafĆ©s, it’s super lively! I saw a wedding inside the Town Hall (with music playing) and a band performing at the entrance—such a festive vibe šŸŽ¶. Manneken Pis šŸ‘¦ A quick photo stop for this iconic tiny statue—check it off your list! Brussels Park (Parc de Bruxelles) 🌳 A spacious park—great for a casual walk or sitting to relax for a bit. Galeries Royales St Hubert (Brussels Arcade) šŸ›ļø Shops line both sides, but prices are on the higher side—fun to browse, but no need to splurge. Brussels Royal Palace šŸ›ļø Across from Brussels Park. Its exterior looks plain, and it’s not open to the public—I didn’t even see a guard there. Mont des Arts (Art Mountain) šŸŽØ A historic site turned artsy district. It has a fantastic viewpoint—you can overlook Brussels’ charming cityscape from here šŸŒ†! Tintin Comic Book Store šŸ“š Filled with Tintin comics and merch—ideal for anyone who’s young at heart 😊. šŸ« Food Highlights Recommended Chocolate Shop: LAURENT GERBAUD (next to Mont des Arts) Their hot chocolate is rich and creamy, and the ice cream is sweet and delicious šŸ¦! Grab their local chocolate (72% cocoa) as a gift—it’s not too sweet, way better than many famous chocolate shops (I tried several boxes from big names, and they were all too sugary) šŸ«. Lunch Note: I ordered beef tartare—didn’t expect the raw beef to be so raw and in such a large portion. I could handle a small bite, but couldn’t finish more (total waste). It’s probably not for Chinese palates 🄩. ✨ Overall Vibe A slow, unhurried day wandering Brussels—just the right amount of time, no tiredness, no rush. Perfect! #ParisToBrussels #Eurostar #BrusselsDayTrip #BelgiumTravel #Tintin #BrusselsChocolate
