Parisian Black Truffle Themed French Cuisine!
⭐️For truffle lovers, this is a must-try without a second thought! It’s a very classic French dining experience. The aroma is incredible—everything, even the drinks and desserts, features black truffle. Haha. The restaurant is called Truffes Folies, and there are two locations in Paris, one in the 7th arrondissement and another in the 8th. ⭐️Recommended Dishes: Velouté Dubarry truffé (Truffle Velouté) See photo 4! It’s incredibly aromatic. I’ll always love cream of mushroom soup, but this version is not at all greasy. Oeuf cocotte aux truffes (Truffle Baked Egg) ⭐️See photo 3! It’s a unique combination of soft-boiled eggs and truffle. The flavor is more intense than the velouté, with the texture of the eggs. I personally loved it, and both of these appetizers go perfectly with a baguette! Linguines au homard et Truffes noires (Lobster and Black Truffle Linguine) See photo 5! This is my absolute favorite! The lobster meat is tender and flavorful, and the portion is generous. Unlike the appetizers, this dish has a more pronounced lobster flavor, in addition to the truffle, which balances it out and prevents it from being too rich. ⭐️Mini raviole aux truffes (Truffle Mini Ravioli) See photo 6! These are classic truffle ravioli. Compared to the lobster linguine, they are lighter, with a stronger truffle flavor. Tiramisu aux truffes (Truffle Tiramisu) It’s a regular tiramisu with an added touch of truffle flavor, making it a delightful little dessert. ⭐️My personal favorites are the Truffle Baked Egg and the Lobster and Black Truffle Linguine. However, the main courses are also delicious! I just got a bit full from the appetizers, which were so amazing. Overall, if you’re a truffle fan, don’t hesitate to try this place!
