Himalayan Cafe 36 S Fair Oaks Ave, Pasadena, CA 91105 (Note: This seems to be a chain—they also have locations in other parts of Los Angeles!) Back in the day, their $11 lunch buffet was the heart and soul of Pasadena’s Old Town area 🍽️💔. Sadly, the lunch buffet didn’t return after the pandemic, and prices have gone up a bit. But compared to other restaurants in the area, it’s still incredibly good value! 💰👍 Nepalese cuisine is very similar to Indian food but generally much less spicy 🌶️🚫. It’s like a redemption for those who love bold flavors but can’t handle the heat! Our must-order dishes: Korma (creamy curry, choice of meat) + Garlic Naan (garlic flatbread)—see pic 3 🧄🍛 The naan dipped in the rich, creamy curry is absolutely heavenly! 🤤✨ Highly recommend their Chai Tea 🍵: unsweetened and infused with special spices—light and fragrant!
