A $2,600 per person special dinner featuring white truffles and caviar. This was a Special Event with a menu and wine pairing each priced at $1,000, with additional costs for tips, taxes, and extra orders. 🥢 🍃 I’ve dined at over 50 Michelin restaurants in New York, but this was my first time encountering Beluga caviar. Usually, I’ve had Siberian sturgeon or Ossetra. 🌟Beluga caviar is incredibly rare and expensive—100g costs $3,000. It was so fresh and unlike anything I’ve tasted before! 🦐 Since we were having Alba white truffles, every dish before the main course featured a white sauce, which pairs beautifully with the truffles. 🌸Each white sauce had a unique flavor profile, with a rich, creamy base and a strong seafood undertone. I loved every bite! 🍖 🌟The wine pairing was unlimited, and the 1999 Cristal was stunning. It had a beautiful amber hue, with a crisp, acidic taste and hints of fruit and honey. I had four glasses in a row! 🥂 The Oddero Barolo, which had been decanted for 8 hours, smelled of dried fruits and had a lighter color. It had a smoky, acidic taste that paired perfectly with the truffles. 🌸 After the meal, we got a tour of the kitchen and the wine cellar. They have an impressive collection of vintage Raynaud tableware and teacups. The craftsmanship is truly breathtaking! 🥢 🌟 #NewYork
