Autumn also brings good weatherkk, let’s catch the last wave of warmth and come check out these free parks! 🆓 1️⃣ Victoria Park My absolute favorite park, top of the list! It’s quite spacious with many interesting spots, like the Chinese Pagoda. I always see fluffy pets 🐕‍🦺🐈 when I visit. 📅 Open all day, free entry 2️⃣ The Meadows Famous for cherry blossoms 🌸, it’s a seasonal spectacle. The views of Edinburgh with the blossoms and ancient buildings in the background are picture-perfect 💯. 📅 Open all day, free entry 3️⃣ Inverleith Park It reminds me of a sloped park in Qingdao, China 🌳. It’s so comfortable to take a nap here in good weather 💤, basking in the sun. There’s a lake nearby with plump swans 🦢, and you can see the city skyline from the higher ground. 📅 Open all day, free entry 4️⃣ Muiravonside Country Park A bus ride 🚌 of about 1 hour gets you there. The park is quite large with woodlands, a farm, and some playground equipment 🛝. I’ve been a few times and usually spend the whole day. It’s nice to find a spot by the river to chat and eat with friends 🤣. 5️⃣ Dr Neil’s Garden When you’re tired of writing essays and need some inspiration, come here to enjoy the beauty of nature ✔. Located at the lower slopes of Arthur’s Seat ⛰, it’s a great escape from the hustle and bustle. You can see views of Duddingston Loch, fountains, and an ancient church ⛪. 📅 Open from 10am-5pm 6️⃣ Dunbars Close Garden A hidden gem garden 💐 I stumbled upon while passing Royal Mile with a friend. It has a vintage style and is one of Edinburgh’s oldest sights 🎈.
