🦘🦉 Petting Kangaroos and Seeing Owls in Kobe
🚉 For adults, purchase a train ticket plus admission for 2200 yen per person at the Port Line Office in Sannomiya Station. This means the round-trip train ride is practically free! 👶 For kids not yet in school, no train ticket is needed, and admission can be bought directly at the zoo for 500 yen per child. 🚃 Take the Shin-Kobe train towards Kobe Airport and get off at "Computer Science Center". The Animal Kingdom is right outside the station. 🕒 Operating hours are from 10:00 to 16:30, and the zoo is closed on Thursdays. 🔔 It's best to go early on a weekday. Upon entering, scan the code to reserve a ticket for close interactions with the animals throughout the day. Some feeding programs allow for on-site queuing, and there are information signs showing the specific times. 💖 The feed for the small animals is 100 yen per serving, which isn't a large amount but is enough to feed them. If you're not satisfied, you can buy more servings at a low cost. The baby kangaroos 🦘 are very gentle and soft to touch, with children surrounding them eagerly. Capybaras are also very friendly and cute, ready for some petting. 🦉 Owl photos cost 300 yen, and remember not to touch them during the photo session. A guy in front of us couldn't resist touching the owl, causing it to get scared immediately. There is a restaurant in the zoo, but be prepared for lines on weekends for ordering and collecting food. 🛍️ Finally, there's a delightful souvenir shop filled with cute items. We picked out two adorable little white rabbits 🐰 for our family. ⭐️⭐️⭐️ Overall, the Animal Kingdom is well worth spending half a day visiting with your kids. Although the place isn't large, it's well-planned with a good variety of animals. Compared to domestic zoos where you get a few carrots for tens of yuan, the 100 yen feeding sessions are incredibly valuable! #MyTravelDiary #WeekendGetaways #Kangaroos #Penguins #Wolves #Owls #Bats #Capybaras #Tigers #RedPandas #Shepherds #Pythons #Seals #Otters #Monkeys #Birds #JapanTravel #KansaiTravel
