Phoenix Restaurant Guide 🍽️
1️⃣ Mariscos Playa Hermosa 🇲🇽 ✅ Highly recommend! Molcajete Caliente: Flavorful and huge portion! Comes with a free plate of rice, beans, and salad. No need for extra sides if you’re not super hungry. Tacos Mar y Tierra: Just okay – tastes like any other basic Mexican spot. 2️⃣ Old Town Taste 🀄 Sichuan Spicy Fish: Pretty good, a bit numbing (in a Sichuan way!), but portion is a bit small. Braised Ribs with String Beans: Average. Ribs had a slight gamey taste, and too many sticky noodles. Old Town Beef Chow Mein: Not recommended 🚫. Lots of beef, but noodles were mushy and only tasted like soy sauce. 3️⃣ Mekong Palace 🥢 ⚠️ Not worth a special trip Forgot to take pics 😅 Dim sum was just okay: chicken feet and shrimp dumplings were decent. Fried shrimp balls, squid, and shumai were average. Cheap prices, but only go if you’re nearby and have no other options. 4️⃣ Sizzle Korean Barbecue 🥩 👎 Not impressive Good reviews misled us 😔 Beef Combo and Seasoned Boneless Short Rib were acceptable – everything else was mediocre. Service was rushed and understaffed. #PhoenixEats #FoodReview #AZFood #TravelArizona #PhoenixFoodie
