Picking Fruit in Edinburgh? Head to Craigie’s Farm!

🔹I’ve always wanted to experience picking fruit at a farm, and I found this gem that offers a variety of berries. On the day we went, they had strawberries, raspberries, gooseberries, and blackcurrants. The prices were reasonable, and the strawberries were the best – big and sweet, way better than the ones from the supermarket. The raspberries had so many ripe ones, and while many strawberries were still green, we managed to find some red ones after a bit of searching. 🔹We were a group of five and took a taxi from the city center, which took about 30 minutes. The entrance fee was £5 per person, and you need to book a time slot in advance. The cost of the fruit you pick is deducted from the entrance fee at the end. I picked a basket and a half and was charged an additional £4, which was totally worth it! 🔹There’s also a restaurant where you can eat, and the view from the cafe is lovely for taking photos. We were lucky to encounter some adorable Shetland ponies. Craigie’s Farm Deli and Cafe, West Craigie Farm #FarmPicking #Edinburgh #StrawberryPicking #FruitPicking #FarmVisit #PickingStrawberriesInUK
