Pittsburgh: Finally Checked Off the Long-Awaited Argentine Grill 🍖
Wow! This place has been on my list for a long time, and I finally got to eat here today! The two recommended dishes (paella and asado platter) are quite pricey, so to be safe, we ordered a bunch of individual grilled meats to share. While eating, I found the rib eye to be incredibly delicious; I might give the asado platter a try next time. 🍖 ⭐️【La Picada】Appetizer platter with a wide variety of items, including smoked meat, cheese, blueberries, grapes, apples, raspberries, pickled peppers, pickled figs, candied walnuts, and sun-dried sweet dates, served with two slices of garlic toast and four dipping sauces. These four sauces with distinct flavors were really tasty, and the friendly waiter with a cute smile explained each one. Both the food and service won everyone's hearts. 🍖 ⭐️【Bondiola de Cerdo】Grilled pork pulled pork. The yellow mustard sauce on top wasn't to my liking, but without the mustard, it was quite fragrant, oscillating between delicious and not so much. 🍖 ⭐️【Clams y Mussels】Not bad, not the traditional white wine-braised clams and mussels, but rather a broth made with red onions, cherry tomatoes, charred lemon, and tarragon, offering a novel flavor. #DailyFood #PittsburghFood #Pittsburgh #Barbecue #CarnegieMellonUniversity #UniversityOfPittsburgh
