Pittsburgh | Super Detailed Travel Guide 1.0
Taking advantage of the Thanksgiving holiday 🦃 + Black Friday shopping in Pennsylvania, we decided to visit Pittsburgh. Since Pennsylvania is tax-free, we often come here for Black Friday, but we usually just pass through Pittsburgh—this time, we finally explored the city properly! Honestly, Pittsburgh is totally worth a thorough visit. Just try not to go in winter like we did—it’s super cold and windy ❄️🌬️. If you do visit in winter, layer up and wear a down jacket! 💡 Parking: Street parking near attractions in downtown Pittsburgh is quite convenient and much cheaper than parking lots. For hotel parking, it costs $38/day. If you don’t want to park at the hotel, you can use a parking app to find cheaper options nearby. 💡 Accommodation: Hotels in Pittsburgh are relatively affordable. We recommend staying near downtown for easy access to everything. We stayed at a Marriott hotel. The average price is around $150–200 per night, which is much cheaper than in other cities—maybe because it’s off-season? 💡 Food: The Chinese food in Pittsburgh is pretty good, with generous portions and reasonable prices. We ordered four dishes, including a grilled fish, for just over $90 (before tip). Highly recommend Sichuan Gourmet—their grilled fish is super flavorful and delicious! Also, the signature chicken wings (forgot the exact name) from the chef’s specials are great. Address: 5700 Centre Ave, Pittsburgh. #Pittsburgh #PittsburghTravel #PittsburghTravelGuide #Travel #StudyInTheUSA #PittsburghChineseFood 🏙️🍴
