We visited during the Magic Season Christmas theme. It’s an absolute photo paradise 📸. Ticket tiers: Value: Mon-Thu before 4PM Standard: Mon-Thu from 4PM; Fri-Sun before 4PM Premium: Fri-Sun after 4PM; all day Dec 26 🎓 FREE for Pitt, CMU, Carlow students with ID 💡 Hours: Sun-Wed: 9:30AM - 10PM Thu-Sat: 9:30AM - 11PM Christmas Hours: Dec 24: 9:30AM - 5PM Dec 25: Closed Dec 26: 9:30AM - 11PM 2️⃣ Carnegie Museum of Art 🖼️ Features mostly modern and contemporary art, but also includes Impressionist works like Monet’s large-scale Water Lilies. You can walk directly into the Natural History Museum from here—they’re connected! 💡 Tickets: Adult $25 | 65+ $20 | Student (with ID) $15 Children 3-18 $15 | Under 2 Free 🎓 FREE for Pitt, CMU, Carlow students with ID 💡 Hours: Tue: Closed | Mon-Sun: 10AM - 5PM 💡 Parking:No dedicated lot—we used street parking. 3️⃣ Carnegie Museum of Natural History 🦖🦣 Home to dinosaur exhibits, mammoths, fossilized fish, and an impressive mineral collection with specimens from around the world.
