📍Pittsburgh | Super Detailed Travel Guide 4.0

6️⃣ The Andy Warhol Museum 🎨✨ Andy Warhol is one of the most important artists of the 20th century and a pioneer of Pop Art. The museum showcases a wide range of his works in various modern art styles, including the iconic portraits of Marilyn Monroe and Elvis. He also created a series of 250 silkscreen prints of Chairman Mao. Until January 20 next year, the museum is hosting the special exhibition KAWS + Warhol, exploring dark themes in both artists’ works. Sponsored by UNIQLO, which also released a KAWS + Warhol collaboration this fall! Visitors can try hands-on silkscreen printing in one section 🖌️—for FREE! The gift shop sells exclusive collaboration merch—some items not available at UNIQLO. A must-visit for fans! 💡 Tickets: Adult $25 | Student $13 | Pitt/CMU Students FREE 3+ $13 | Under 3 FREE | 65+ $13 💡 Parking:No free parking. We used street parking. 💡 Hours:Tue CLOSED | Mon-Thu 10AM-5PM | Fri 10AM-10PM 7️⃣ Pittsburgh Zoo & Aquarium 🐯🐠 My first time visiting a zoo in winter! While many animals were hibernating indoors, the zoo offers plenty of indoor exhibits like the tropical rainforest and aquarium—so we still saw most of the animals. The most impressive part was the fruit bat cave 🦇: a whole dark room filled with flying bats! Unlike other zoos, these aren’t behind glass—only wire mesh—so you can feel the vibrations of their wings and smell the ripe fruit. An immersive (and slightly wild) experience! 💡 Tickets: Prices vary by date. Cheaper if booked online in advance. Adult: $16-$19 | Child (2-13): $13-$16 | Senior (60+): $14-$17 💡 Parking:FREE large parking lot—no need to worry about space. 💡 Hours:Mon-Sun 9:30AM-4PM 8️⃣ Cathedral of Learning 🏛️📚 A stunning Gothic-style building used for classes and studying—the second tallest educational building in the world! You can enter freely, but please keep quiet inside. 🤫 #Pittsburgh #TravelGuide #AndyWarholMuseum #PittsburghZoo #CathedralOfLearning #KAWSxWarhol #StudentTravel #USATravel #MuseumHop #PopArt 🇺🇸🎟️🦁
