Pittsburgh โ Restaurant Reviews ๐ฝ๏ธ
Back in Pittsburgh for work in August โ had the chance to try more recommended spots. Hereโs a quick roundup: ๐ Nickyโs Thai Kitchen (North Pittsburgh) Thai Fried Rice & Grilled Duck Curry were flavorful and authentic ๐ถ๏ธ๐. The fried rice was perfectly seasoned, and the red curry tasted traditional โ though the duck was a bit tough. Spice level 3 (out of 5) was still quite hot โ be warned! โ Recommended! ๐ Kiku Japanese Restaurant (Downtown) Lunch combo: Tempura + Sushi ๐ค๐ฃ Sushi was fresh, tempura batter was light and not greasy when eaten hot. Their soy sauce was unusually delicious! โ Highly recommended! ๐ค Sushi Kim 2 (Downtown) Seafood pancake was just okay โ generous with seafood, but nothing special. ๐ DiAnoia's Eatery (Downtown) Food was disappointing โ especially the Bread Bowl ๐ ๐ (tomato sauce was bland). Service was slow โ waited way too long. โ Not recommended. ๐ Mitch's Barbeque (North Pittsburgh) Ramen Bowl + Pork Belly ๐๐ Light broth, perfectly cooked noodles, and crispy flavorful pork belly with ideal fat-to-meat ratio. โ Definitely recommended! ๐ Piccolo Forno (Downtown) A gem of an Italian restaurant! ๐๐ฎ๐น Appetizer: Brussels Sprouts with hummus โ an amazing combo. Main: SPAGHETTI with shrimp, crab, and a spicy kick ๐๐ฆ โ layered with roasted pumpkin, onion, tomato, and more. Pizza TARTUFO: Truffle + cheese + roasted corn + meat + a dreamy runny egg on top ๐๐ Tiramisu had a hint of lemon โ unique and refreshing! โ Absolutely worth revisiting! #PittsburghEats #FoodReview #BestRestaurants #HiddenGems #PittsburghLife #Foodie #ItalianFood #ThaiFood #BBQ #SushiLovers ๐ฅขโจ
