Pittsburgh 3-Day 2-Night Travel Guide : Hotel Edition 🏨
With school about to start, my boyfriend and I decided to explore Pittsburgh together. 🌟 The first step was booking a hotel. After some research, we chose the AC Hotel. Initially, my boyfriend wanted to stay at a historic monastery-themed hotel 🏛️. It sounded charming — surrounded by beautiful scenery and rich in history. But after seeing the photos, I changed his mind. The rooms looked dark, the TV was outdated 📺, and most importantly, the bathroom didn’t seem very clean 🚽. For me, comfort and cleanliness matter more than historical charm when choosing a place to stay. The AC Hotel, on the other hand, felt modern and welcoming from the moment we stepped in. Check-in is on the top floor, which also has a bar and lounge — perfect for drinks or a meal 🍹🍴. Our room was spacious, bright, and very clean. Although (like most U.S. hotels) they didn’t provide slippers, everything else was well-stocked. If you forget anything, just ask the front desk! The bathroom was a highlight — a large white vanity with plenty of space for skincare and makeup 💄. The shower glass was so clear I thought the door was open! The bedroom was divided into sleeping and activity areas, and the wall-mounted LCD TV was bigger than those in other hotels we saw online 📺. 📍 Location: The hotel is near downtown. Across the street is a parking lot 🅿️, making it easy to get around. It’s only a 2-minute walk to the Senator John Heinz History Center 🏛️, and most attractions are within a 10-minute drive. Dining options are plentiful — two restaurants right downstairs, and a whole street of great eateries within a 10-minute walk 🍽️. We tried a few randomly and weren’t disappointed! ⚠️ The only downside: the view from our room wasn’t great. If you’re looking for a hotel with beautiful night views, this might not be the one (or maybe we just had a bad room position 🌃). For the price, AC Hotel is a solid choice. I haven’t stayed elsewhere in Pittsburgh, but I’d definitely recommend this one! #Pittsburgh #ACHotel #TravelGuide #HotelReview #USATravel #ModernHotel #CityTrip 🧳✨
