🥯 Pittsburgh Brunch | Revisiting a Hidden Gem Inside a Bookstore 📖

As a book and brunch lover, I had to come back! Tried their dinner menu when this North Side spot first opened—loved it (review is in my food guide—menu is still similar, so it’s still helpful!). This time, my friend and I came for Sunday brunch 📚☀️ 🥯 Smoked Trout and Sea Salt Bagel With pickled beet salad and pickled egg The smoked trout was tender and flavorful—similar to smoked salmon! The bagel is housemade—toasted crispy outside, chewy inside 💯 The pickled beets were tangy and sweet, and the colors of the egg and salad were so vibrant! A must-order—will definitely get it again. 🍔 Lamb Leg Burger With potato chips and pickle Their lamb is famous—braised lamb at dinner, lamb leg at brunch—highly recommended! My friend ordered this—sliced leg of lamb, juicy and tender 🍖 Not too gamey, so even those wary of lamb can enjoy it! And those house potato chips? Crispy and delicious 😋 ☕️ Coffee Basic options: drip coffee and espresso drinks (latte, cappuccino, flat white, americano). No cold brew, though! 🍹 Drinks Lots of brunch cocktails—saw many people enjoying mimosas (looked refreshing!), but we didn’t order any. 📚 Vibe & Space Connected to City of Asylum bookstore—you can grab a book, order a cocktail, and relax in the cozy lobby area. Perfect for a slow, literary Sunday ❤️ ✨ 40th North at Alphabet City 📍 40 W. North Avenue, Pittsburgh 🅿️ Street parking nearby ⚠️ Brunch served only on Sundays! Highly recommend—great food, beautiful bookstore atmosphere. My friend already wants to come back for dinner! Hope you enjoyed this—like & save for your next bookish brunch 💫 #PittsburghBrunch #HiddenGem #BookstoreCafe#PittsburghFood #BrunchLovers #PGH#FoodAndBooks #WeekendVibes
