Pittsburgh Coffee ☕️ Hidden Gems & Rare Beans ✨

Plus these adorable mini espresso cups!! Their coffee beans rotate every few days. They offer two batch brews daily: one hot, one cold, plus two espresso options and one pour-over. (One of the most diverse daily selections I’ve seen!) I went three days in a row last week and tried three different beans— ordered an iced coffee, drip, and espresso. 🧊 Iced Coffee (Batch Brew) Not cold brew—it’s Japanese-style pour-over with ice water. Compared to cold brew, the flavors are more layered. Cold brew is usually super smooth, but fruity notes often get muted. This method preserves them! If you have pour-over equipment, you can make it at home too. ☕️ Drip (Batch Brew) That day’s drip was Bittersweet from Mother Tongue. So delicious—chocolate and caramel notes, smelled like crème brûlée. Worth the $4 for a 16oz cup! ☕️ Espresso Went with Nightmare from Vignette—a dark roast with chocolate, marshmallow, and a hint of hazelnut. Bold and intense as espresso, just how I like it! Served with a side of sparkling water~perfect. Over the weekend, the shop was testing a new pour-over and invited me to try it. It smelled like blueberry waffles— Tasted of blueberry and pineapple, kinda tropical 🌴 Not sour (at least not when hot)—so unique! Anyway, I really like this place and will be back often to try new brews! If you’re just looking for a photogenic spot, this might not be it~ The shop is low-key, fairly small, with limited seating. It’s vintage but not really “instagrammable”. But if you truly love coffee? You might pick up a few tricks here~ The owner is introverted but super nice—super passionate when talking about coffee. I asked him lots of questions about home brewing, bean origins, and tasting notes—he patiently explained everything! ✨ Constellation Coffee 📍 4059 Penn Ave, Pittsburgh Hope this helps~don’t forget to like and save ❤️ #Pittsburgh #PittsburghCoffee#MyCoffeeDiary #COTD #CoffeeShop#WeekendVibes #CoffeeExploration #Coffee
