🍣 Pittsburgh Eats | The ONE Sushi Spot Worth the Hype 🍵
Hey Pittsburgh foodies ~ You’ve probably already seen this place all over Instagram, right? Well… I finally got to try it! 🎉 Booked in August for a 5:30 pm slot in November… Yes, it’s that popular 😮💨 But here’s the verdict: totally worth the hype! My friend and I were emotional — finally, truly good sushi in the ‘Burgh 😭❤️ Sashimi Plate Fresh, clean, delicate — if you love raw fish, order this 🐟 Handrolls ✨✨✨ We tried six different ones — each was creative and delicious! Not just fresh fish — the rice was perfectly textured, nori crispy and fragrant. Worth every carb 🙌 (Ranked: beef tartare & salmon belly were my favs 🥇 Real Maine crab in the California roll 🦀 Miso-torched salmon was creamy and rich Eel and scallop were good but less standout) Tako / Sawara Nigiri Generous cuts of fish with just a bite of rice — perfect balance 🤏 And yes, there’s wasabi inside… legit stuff! Matcha Misu 🍵 Not too sweet, light yet satisfying — we finished it even though we were stuffed 😋 P.S. Already booked my next visit 😂 🍣 Gi-Jin 📍 208 6th St, Pittsburgh, PA 15222 🅿️ Public parking nearby — starts at $15/hr (😬) Better to park a block away — $10/2hr Or Uber with friends! 🚗 #PittsburghFood #SushiLovers #WeekendEats#PittsburghEats #JapaneseCuisine #FoodDiary 🥢🎌
