Pittsburgh Food | Carb Lover’s Dream Focaccia Goes With Everything

After three quiet years, they’re back—and worth the wait! The menu has even more choices than what’s shown online. ✨ Antipasto We started with the focaccia (got a half portion for two—looked huge but was so light and airy!). Crispy outside, chewy inside, perfectly oily without being heavy. We finished it all! Sottoncenere al Tartufo with Honeycomb A truffle-infused manchego-style cheese paired with honeycomb 🍯—mind-blowing combo! Highly recommend. Cacio De Roma with Apple & Hazelnuts Mild goat cheese with sweet apple and crunchy nuts—pleasant, but not as memorable. Silky Foie Gras (not on the menu) Buttery, cool mousse spread on crispy focaccia—absolutely delicious. Marinated Mushrooms Pretty standard. Artichoke with Lemon & Tahini (also off-menu) Bright, creative, and refreshing! Smoked Meat Board (forgot the name!) A mix of cured meats served with thick sourdough—perfect for sharing. ✨ Food Plates Grilled Octopus Tender with blood orange sauce and chickpeas—a standout! Mafaldine with Crab Meat Al dente pasta with big chunks of fresh crab 🦀 in a light lemon sauce—so good! Broccoli Rabe Side dish roasted with chili—simple but flavorful. ✨ Affogato with Hazelnut & Cacao (We added a candle for a friend’s early birthday 🎂) Vanilla ice cream tasted almost like sorbet—not too sweet! Highly recommend. Loved the meal and the lush green wall ambiance 🌿 Can’t wait to go back for the beef tartare and tuna crudo! 📌 Tip: Make a reservation + bring more people! The antipasto selection is huge—great for sharing so you save room for mains. We over-ordered and were almost full after starters! 🇮🇹 Fish nor Fowl 📍 5523 Penn Ave, Pittsburgh 🅿️ Street parking available Happy weekend, everyone! Like & save if you’re a focaccia fan 😉🍞 #PittsburghFood #ItalianEats #FocacciaLover#ShareablePlates #FoodieReview #PGH
