Pittsburgh Food Adventure 🇮🇹 Spring Specials Are Here! 🌼

Recently spotted their new spring menu 🌸 Finally went with friends last weekend to try it out~ Burrata w/ Balsamic Vinegar, Tomato, Pine Nuts A daily special—if you see it, don’t hesitate!! Fresh house-made burrata, so creamy and cute 🥹 Paired with tomato vinaigrette and pine nuts—super fragrant! Rich but not heavy, super appetizing! The baguette wasn’t enough though 😂 Remember to save room for the rest, or you’ll be too full haha~ Antipasto Platter 🧀️🍖 Two types of cheese, two types of meat, three sides (I loved the oil-marinated tomatoes!). A classic for chatting with the girls~ Mussels w/ Lemon Sauce Another special that night! I’ve always loved mussels, and the lemon sauce 🍋 was a refreshing twist—with lemon zest but not bitter! Perfect for spring and summer. Orecchiette Pasta - Aglio e Olio, Rapini, Sausage Also from the spring limited menu! First time trying this "little ear" pasta—so cute 😍 If you’re tired of regular red or white sauce, try this! Peppery and flavorful~ Hard to describe, but you’ll know why it’s a spring special once you taste it! Ricotta Cheesecake I actually saw this cake on IG and was determined to try it! It did NOT disappoint—so delicious 😋 Made with ricotta, so it’s not heavy or overly sweet! Has bits of orange peel and candied citron 🍊 for texture—light and refreshing, perfect for warmer days! Pro tip: Ask your server to reserve a slice when you arrive—they often sell out! Mimosa 🍓 Originally wanted wine, but this was too cute to pass up~ And it was super hot that day, so this hit the spot! Refreshing! 🇮🇹 Girasole 📍 733 Copeland St, Pittsburgh, PA 15232 On a side street near Walnut St.—right across from Frances (which I’ve recommended before!). Parking nearby is pretty easy~ They don’t take reservations yet. Dinner starts at 4 PM. We went on Saturday around 5 PM, and the patio was already full! A line started forming right after we sat down, so go early (everyone’s out enjoying the warm weather!). Hope you all have a great weekend!
