Pittsburgh Food Adventure ✨ A Restaurant That Always Feels New 🥰
Another spot added to my regular rotation! Their menu changes weekly and is super concise—just over ten dishes in total 📃 But that’s not a problem for us—it actually makes ordering easier! The restaurant is cozy yet beautifully decorated with lovely details 🌿 Perfect for girls’ gatherings or date night 💖 We started with two appetizers: 🫒 Antipasti Featuring prosciutto, olives (sweet and so good!), anchovies, and whipped ricotta—creamy and rich 🧀 Served with house-made focaccia—oily but not greasy, chewy and perfect! 🐟 Trout Layered with fresh chives on top, trout in the middle, and avocado (like guacamole but without the sharp onion taste) 🥑 Paired with a tomato-based sauce and sea salt crackers 🧂 I could eat this all day—finished the whole plate myself! For pasta, we ordered two: 🍤 Fussili with Shrimp 🐷 Gnocchi with Pork Shoulder Both were delicious! The fusilli and gnocchi are house-made 🍝 Fresh pasta has that perfect chew—so much better! The shrimp was plump and bouncy 🦐, served with a light sauce that complemented the seafood beautifully. The pork shoulder was crispy outside and tender inside, with a creamy almond milk-based sauce 🌰 Each had its own unique charm~ One entrée: 🐟 Black Bass with Polenta The fish was pan-seared to juicy perfection—so flavorful! The polenta was thick, like creamy porridge 🍲 Cooked with butter—a bit too soft for my taste, but the fish alone was worth it 👍 Only one dessert option: 🍮 Butterscotch ‘Pudding’ with Chocolate Cookie The texture was amazing—like raw cookie batter 🍫 But fluffier and airier! Hard to describe but so yummy lol You can spread it on the cookie it comes with—double the indulgence, truly a calorie bomb 💣 Went for a run right after getting home 🏃♀️ ✨ Senza 📍 372 Butler St, Pittsburgh, PA 15223 🅿️ Street parking available | Reservations recommended They also host a Thursday Dinner Club once a month—tickets sell out fast! 🎟️ I always either miss the date or can’t get a ticket… but I’m going this year no matter what!! That’s all~Wishing everyone good food and a happy weekend! 🥳 #FoodieAdventure #Pittsburgh #PittsburghEats #PittsburghFoodGuide #PittsburghLife #PittsburghDining
