Pittsburgh Food Adventure 💛 Brunch Time in South Side! 😋
How's everyone doing today? The weather is absolutely gorgeous~ Taking advantage of the Memorial Day long weekend to enjoy some brunch ✨ This place in South Side—I've passed by so many times, and finally tried it today! 🍤 Shrimp & Avocado Toast 🥑 I ordered this~ A brunch classic: avocado + sourdough! Topped with grilled jumbo shrimp and a sweet pepper sauce (mild and tasty). The toast was layered with arugula, quinoa salad, and garnished with ultra-thin cucumber and radish slices—perfect for summer~ Flavor was great! But the bread was overly toasted—way too crispy… I felt like I needed a steak knife to cut it 😅 🍋 Lemon Ricotta Pancake 🥞 Ningning ordered this~ Here’s her review lol: “Can’t really taste the ricotta inside—it’s mostly just spread on top. Tastes like regular pancakes. The red berry compote was pretty good though. Overall, nothing special.” 🧊 Iced Americano ☕️ They have a brunch cocktail menu, but we skipped it this time haha. But doesn’t this look like a cocktail with all that foam? 😆 They offer outdoor seating, but we chose to sit inside~ Still, watching the sunny outdoors through the window was so uplifting 🌞 Overall, it’s worth a try, but probably not a “must-return” spot. ✨ Bonfire Food & Drinks 📍 2100 E Carson St, Pittsburgh, PA 15203 Sunday brunch hours: 11 AM - 3 PM Street parking in nearby residential areas is free on Sundays!
