Pittsburgh Food Adventure 🦪 Seafood Feast—Gout Warning! 🥂
#TGIF Friday night after work = oyster time! Finally checked out this long-awaited spot on my list~ We ordered all kinds of seafood—gout warning lol 😂 🦪 Raw Oysters More varieties than I expected! From West Coast, East Coast, to the South—they have oysters from all over. If you're not sure, the servers are happy to explain the flavors and textures. Prices range from 💲3-4/piece. I won’t recommend specific types since everyone has their own preferences~ 🦐 Old Bay Peel & Eat Shrimp 🐚 Clams ✨ Mussels These three are cooked~ I thought the shrimp tasted the best. The mussels were a bit mild, but the toasted bread served with them was perfectly crispy—great for dipping in the broth! 🍸 Sea Biscuit The one I’m holding—bourbon + strawberry + basil. So tasty! Highly recommended for whiskey lovers~ 🍹 Bloody Mary My friend ordered this and said it was too salty—not recommended. Overall, the quality here is solid. At least everything we had yesterday was fresh 😌 Bonus: the interior decor and lighting are super photo-friendly! 🦪 Merchant Oyster Co. 📍 4129 Butler St, Pittsburgh We went around 5 PM—it wasn’t too busy, but it got packed after 7-8 PM. Better to go early! (Asked the staff—no happy hour for now.) #Pittsburgh #PittsburghEats #PittsburghFood#FoodAdventure #SeafoodLover #WeekendVibes 🦐🥂📸
