Pittsburgh Food Exploration ☀️ Sunshine & Brunch ✔️

Soaking up the sun while enjoying bagels—this place has everything you want~ I’ve been wanting to try this place for a long time, and finally went there! First, the conclusion: It’s pretty good~ Definitely worth a visit if you love brunch. P.S.: I checked out their dinner menu and am already planning my next visit. They have some pop-up chefs that seem really interesting! 🥯 Bagel Board for 2 + Lox 🍣 A must-order for carb and bagel lovers~ First, choose two bagels (Plain / Everything / Pastrami) We went with the spiced ones: Everything and Pastrami. We both liked Pastrami more than Everything! (Everything seasoning still can’t beat Trader Joe’s, lol 😆) The bagels themselves were excellent—freshly baked, warm, with a crispy exterior and a chewy inside. I wanted to take a whole dozen home! Then, choose two cream cheeses (Plain / Jalapeño / Dill & Pickles) Jalapeño was just okay, but Dill & Pickles was surprisingly delicious! All veggie toppings are included. We added extra Lox: house-made smoked salmon. So good! Full of flavor but not too salty. Paired with cream cheese + capers + sliced onions—it was perfectly balanced! The portion of lox was generous too. I loved the hands-on experience of assembling my own bagel sandwich 😊 Plus, you can slather on as much cream cheese as you want—every bite is super satisfying! 🍳 Shakshuka 🍅 Served with three small slices of sourdough—unexpectedly tasty! The shakshuka itself was a bit lacking in tomato flavor and could’ve used more salt 🤔 Luckily, it had a slight spiciness to it—mildly spicy. Dipping the bagels into the sauce was still pretty good. The runny eggs were perfectly cooked—not overcooked! ☕️ I ordered drip coffee, and my friend got a latte. They use beans from RedHawk Roastery, a local Pittsburgh brand. I’ve been to their café before—really like it! 🍹 Cocktails We didn’t try any, but since this place specializes in New American cuisine, they have a full bar with plenty of options. 📷 Lastly, the lighting by the window is amazing—perfect for photos! Alright, that’s all for today’s share~ If you liked it, remember to like and save ❤️ ☀️ Scratch & Co 📍 1720 Lowrie St, Pittsburgh 🅿️ Street parking is easy (recommend booking a few days in advance, just in case!) #PittsburghFood #PittsburghExploration #PittsburghLife#WeekendVibes #Brunch #PittsburghBrunch
