Pittsburgh Food Review Second Visit, and the Tiramisu Stole the Show!
My first post of 2023 goes to this fabulous New Year’s dinner 🎉 I’ve been to this place before and loved it—now I’m back for more! Regular dinner: $45 for 2 courses New Year’s dinner: $65 for 3 courses ✨ Antipasti Pork Tonnato Thinly sliced pork loin with tuna and caper sauce (tastes like a fancy tuna salad sandwich 🥪). Unique, smooth, and delicious! Chicken Liver Pâté Loved it last time, still obsessed! Perfect spread on bread 🍞 ✨ Secondi Rigatoni with Beef & Pork Ragu Tube pasta with rich tomato-meat sauce 🍝 Hearty but not heavy—we finished the whole plate! Duck Breast with Fruits and Barley Perfectly cooked medium rare duck 🦆 Topped with soft, juicy grapes 🍇 Served over chewy barley soaked in delicious sauce—texture and flavor were everything! ✨ Dessert The surprise star: Tiramisu! ☕️🍰 Strong coffee and liquor flavor—so authentic! Ladyfingers were soaked perfectly, and the cream was light yet rich. Absolutely heavenly! Also tried Rice Pudding with pistachios and cranberries—good, but a bit sweet for me. Still creamy and comforting though~ 🥂 Cocktails Drinks are extra—forgot the names, but both were tasty! Overall, another wonderful dining experience 🍾 The restaurant is intimate and cozy—great for dates, friend gatherings, or small family celebrations! 📍 Bar Marco 🅿️ Street parking available | Always book ahead, even on weekdays!
