🤩 Pittsburgh Gem: A Truly Impressive Dining Experience ✨

This new restaurant may be small, but it delivers big on flavor! The menu is concise yet refined, with weekly specials featuring premium ingredients like Wagyu, Australian M7 beef, and lobster tail—perfect for sharing. We didn’t try those this time (not enough stomach space!), but everything we ordered was absolutely delicious! ✨ Appetizers ✨ 🤍 Mussels w/ Frites Cooked in beer instead of the usual white wine—so flavorful! The mussels were fresh, and the portion was generous (about 1 lb, great for 3–4 people). The fries were sprinkled with truffle salt—so addictive!! 🤍 Beets with Whipped Cheese + Balsamic + Nuts A refreshing and tangy start—creamy cheese, sweet beets, and crunchy nuts. Perfect balance! 🤍 Scallops Two huge scallops—perfectly seared, tender and sweet inside. The sauce was amazing (forgot the name though 😅). ✨ Entrées ✨ 🤍 Duck Breast with Purple Sweet Potato + Carrots The duck was cooked perfectly—crispy skin, juicy inside. Served with sweet purple potato purée and carrots…a must-order! 💯 🤍 Trout with Crispy Potato + Wild Mushrooms Fresh trout from a local farm—a large portion with crispy skin and great seasoning. The wild mushrooms were incredibly flavorful. Will definitely order this again! No disappointments here—we left happily stuffed! Next time, we’ll bring more people to try the Wagyu and save room for dessert 🍰 ✨ Jilian‘s Restaurant 📍 400 Freeport St, New Kensington 🅿️ Free street parking across the road—very convenient! No reservation needed. A bit outside the city, but totally worth the trip! Hope you enjoyed this review—like & save for your next food adventure! ❤️ #PittsburghFood #FoodieFind #HiddenGem#PittsburghEats #FineDining #RestaurantReview
