š± Grilled Eel A dish that's hard to mess up, but the strong dipping sauce flavor overwhelmed the taste of the eel. My friend said it tasted no different from the frozen eel you can buy on Weee, and we'd rate it as average. š Yaki-Soba A dish that's hard to make delicious, it tastes like a familiar yet nameless fried noodle flavor. The texture is like stir-fried instant noodles. We ordered this because they were out of rice dishes, and we probably won't order it again. š³ Okonomiyaki Okonomiyaki has many toppings to choose from, and squid is a perfect match. It's generously filled, with a rich texture, and quite large in portion. Half of it is enough to make you full, and the taste is quite good. š² Hitori Nabe (One-Person Pot) Although it's called a one-person pot, it's more than enough for two people to share. The broth is made from a type of fish and is very delicious, paired with tofu, mushrooms, meat, and vegetables. On a cold winter day, having a bowl of hot soup is really comforting. This was the best of the day! š¹ Yuzu Sparkling Water Choya Yuzu We ordered this drink because the table next to us had it. It doesn't taste like a plastic yuzu flavor, and the balance with the sparkling water is just right. It's so good that we wanted to take a few cans home. A search on Amazon shows that it's even more expensive than in the restaurant. #Pittsburgh #PittsburghFood #ExploreEats #JapaneseCuisine #MyFoodDiary
