Point Reyes: The Ultimate Oyster Experience 🦪

After seeing recommendations on Xiaohongshu (Little Red Book), I drove two hours to this place, and let me tell you, the hype is real! The oysters are incredibly fresh, with every bite bursting with the flavors of the ocean. They’re hands down the best oysters I’ve had in the Bay Area.🥹 In addition to the raw oysters, we also tried: 🧀 Rockefeller Oysters: These cheese-baked oysters are a perfect blend of rich cheese and fresh oysters. They’re absolutely delicious! 🦀 Dungeness Crab Sandwich: Made with seasonal Dungeness crab, the sandwich features sweet and tender crab meat. With cucumber, bean sprouts, and a drizzle of salad dressing, it’s refreshing and satisfying without being greasy. 🍲 Clam Chowder: This rich clam chowder is perfectly paired with crispy, garlic-infused bread. The chowder isn’t too heavy, making it a comforting and delightful combination with the bread. If you’re an oyster lover, this place is a must-try! P.S. The area has limited cell service, so it’s a good idea to download an offline map.
