Pokhara's Hidden Gem Juice Shop: Himalayan Cafe

Freshly squeezed juices are a must-try here! The shop is called Himalayan Cafe, located diagonally across from the Movie Garden intersection. It's run by a lovely Nepalese couple whose smiles are incredibly sweet. We spent over two months in Pokhara, and our relationship with this shop evolved from just passing by to eagerly looking forward to visiting every day. We want to share this place with all our friends in Pokhara. Operating Hours: Around 7:00 AM to 9:00 PMBreakfast, coffee, juices, snacks, and more... These are our favorites: Sugarcane Juice with Mint & LemonWho can resist the explosive combination of sugarcane, mint, and lemon! It's sweet and tangy, and after a long walk around Phewa Lake, taking a sip feels like an instant recharge of 100% 💚 I first tried it when I had the flu, feeling groggy and having almost no appetite. This drink immediately perked me up and made me feel hungry again! Apple Beetroot Carrot (ABC)A ruby-red antioxidant bomb! The sweetness of the apple neutralizes the earthy taste of the beetroot, while the carrot adds depth. After drinking it, I feel like my skin is glowing ✨ Pomegranate JuicePure pomegranate juice without a drop of water added—delicious! Masala TeaA delight for spice lovers! It's not overly sweet or cloying. The freshly brewed ginger tea is infused with cardamom and cinnamon. Holding a steaming cup every morning gently awakens the digestive system and sets a healing tone for the entire day. Hot Ginger Lemon HoneyThis is a must for minor colds or sore throats! Our Nepalese friends say they rarely take medicine for colds; they just drink this every day. The reason we love to share this place is because of the freshness, affordability, and large servings! For an average of 200 Nepalese Rupees (about 10 RMB), you can enjoy juice freedom. On the day we left Pokhara, we had breakfast here before taking a taxi to depart. Before leaving, we hugged our friends one by one and expressed our gratitude to the owners. We thanked them for always making the juices fresh and delicious and the food so tasty. The owner said, "Thank you for bringing so many friends here." I replied, "Because this is our favorite place!" Recalling this place still warms my heart and brings tears to my eyes. It was many mornings and evenings spent here, chatting happily, sharing travel stories, or just daydreaming while watching people pass by... #PhewaLake #LivingInPokhara #NepalTravel #FreshJuices#GlobalFoodAndDrinkSquad #food #CafeDelights #FoodOnTheRoad
