This is a beginner-friendly hiking route in Pokhara that allows you to experience natural scenery in just half a day. If you have limited time and physical strength but still want to try hiking, the Australia Camp route is recommended for you. 🗺️ Hiking Route: Kande - Australian Camp - Pothana - Phedi 🚌 Transportation to Kande (by taxi or bus): 1️⃣ Taxi: Take a taxi from your hotel to the Bus park heading towards Kande . (Pokhara city is not large, and it takes about 15-20 minutes by taxi. Some drivers may not know the Bus park; you can navigate to the shops 2️⃣ Bus: Take a green bus to Baglung bus park, then transfer to another bus heading towards Kande to the Bus park station, and finally take the bus to Kande. 🎫 Bus fare to Kande: 200 Nepalese Rupees per person for a one-way trip The entire journey takes 2 hours, departing at 9:50 and arriving at Kande by 12:00. The first part of the road is not in good condition and the bus travels slowly and bumpy (those prone to motion sickness may find it uncomfortable), while the second half is on smooth roads. The front part of the bus also carries supplies, and if you sit at the back, you may need to climb out. Directly opposite where you get off the bus in Kande. ⚠️ Reminders for 2 route forks: 1️⃣ After passing the Australian Camp, there is a fork in the road; take the path behind the sign. 2️⃣ The fork to Dhampus-Phedi is at a relatively flat open area with a large sign indicating the way to Pothana but not the way to Dhampus. Facing the sign, at 1 o'clock direction, walk over and you will see the intersection. #PokharaJourney #NepalHiking #NepalPokharaHiking #PokharaSnowMountain#Nepal#trip diary#travel guide#Pokhara
