Popular Ramen Shop in Paris: Kodawari | Visited Both Branches
🥰This Japanese ramen shop is not only popular among us but also a particularly popular spot locally in Paris, with long queues in front of the store every day, sometimes even up to an hour. 👍They have two branches. One is called Tsukiji, located on the Right Bank of the Seine River in the 1st arrondissement, very close to the Louvre; the other is called Yokochō, on the Left Bank in the 6th arrondissement, situated in the Latin Quarter, which is rich in cuisine. 🥰The branch in the 1st arrondissement focuses on seafood, imitating the decor of the Tsukiji Market, with gimmicky environmental settings, but honestly, the seats are very cramped, and it's not very comfortable to sit. Their seafood-based ramen is quite distinctive. 🥰The branch in the 6th arrondissement focuses on mountain flavors, imitating the decor of the Edo night market, which is also not bad. There's a large open space on the second floor, which is more comfortable to sit in than downstairs, and the decor is very nostalgic and interesting. The noodle soup base here might be more suitable for the general taste. I tried the "boiled dry white soup noodles" and "black sesame noodles." Personally, I think the black sesame one is more distinctive. It's best to add a store specialty grilled tomato. The chefs downstairs always have several skewers roasting at any time, which looks like a specialty and tastes good. 🥰Both stores have a queuing system. There is a QR code at the entrance of the store. After scanning, you enter the queuing system to register on a first-come, first-served basis. Note!!! Now, when registering in line, your phone's location will be checked! You must have your location set to the store to successfully join the queue! Therefore, it is impossible to save the QR code on your iPhone in advance and queue first and then go to the store. (At least that's the case with the 6th arrondissement store, which has location checking. It's uncertain whether the 1st arrondissement store is the same.) ❣️Kodawari Ramen (Tsukiji) ❣️12 Rue de Richelieu, 75001 Paris ❣️Kodawari Ramen (Yokochō) ❣️29 Rue Mazarine, 75006 Paris #Restaurant Recommendation #Japanese Ramen #Food Exploration #Travel Notes #Ramen #Paris #Paris Travel #Paris Life #Paris Food #Paris Exploration
