Porsche Headquarters in Stuttgart, Germany 🇩🇪
Stuttgart, Germany 🇩🇪—a famous industrial city known as the "Cradle of Automobiles." After visiting the Porsche Museum, an uncle who has worked at Porsche for 26 years took us on a tour of the factory. This was an extremely rare opportunity, as factory tours are incredibly hard to book. Luckily, we got to visit two production lines in 2 hours, including those for the 911/718 and Taycan. ⚠️ Important Note: This was an internal tour—no mobile phones or photography allowed 📷. 🔍 Key Factory Facts Shared ✔️ Total number of employees at the headquarters: 8,000-9,000 ✔️ Number of workers on assembly lines: Approximately 1,500 ✔️ Daily delivery volume: Around 250 units ✔️ The 911 production line has a total of 137 stations ✔️ The Taycan production line was put into use in 2019, and it delivered 100,000 units within three years of operation. This line is a showcase of intelligent manufacturing, with 94 stations across 7 phases. Each station takes about 3-3 minutes and 40 seconds, with strict quality control. ✔️ It takes approximately 8 hours to assemble one car, using only 50 screws 🔩—truly amazing! 🌍 Interesting Market Insight from the Uncle The uncle mentioned that the Chinese market was Porsche’s top buyer for many consecutive years, but the current No. 1 buyer has returned to the United States 🇺🇸. He was quite surprised by this: the average age of international market buyers is 47, while the average age of Chinese buyers is only 34—and women account for 70% of Chinese buyers! #Porsche#MercedesBenzMuseum #AutomotiveHistory
