Porto, Portugal ❤️ My Favorite Restaurant in Porto
This was my absolute favorite restaurant in Porto—definitely worth visiting if you're in the city! The vibe is super chill and romantic, perfect for couples or anyone who appreciates a nice ambiance. Personally, I don’t think it’s the best spot for kids. Reservations are a must! If you don’t have one, go early—they open for dinner at 6:30 PM, and if you arrive too late, you might not even get a chance to wait for a table. Starters: 🍤 Shrimp Stew (Strimp Stew) – Absolutely delicious! So flavorful and a must-order. 🐮 Stewed Tripe (Tripas à Moda do Porto) – A local specialty. The portion here was just right—some places serve it in huge pots that end up being way too heavy, but this was perfect. Main Course: 🦑 Baby Squid & Shrimp (Pic 6) – Amazing! There was a piece of bread served with it that I didn’t quite understand, but it was tasty. Heads up: Unlike most European countries where bread and butter are free, Portugal charges for them (Pic 4). Here, it was €5 for two people—the staff will ask if you want it. You can decline, but honestly, it’s worth it because the bread is so good. It also comes with a big side of beans (still not sure why, but no complaints!).
