Porto | A Day Well Spent in This Park
🌟It’s true that in July and August, the days in Western Europe are just too sunny for outdoor activities; it can be deadly. The city’s attractions can be walked through in just half a day. 📍Serralves Contemporary Art Museum Get the ticket for 24 euros that includes the park; the art gallery alone is 15 euros. 🌟There’s not only a wealth of modern art but also an exhibition of Siza’s architecture, with a super extensive collection! Architecture enthusiasts definitely shouldn’t miss it. I also happened to stumble upon a special exhibition by Yayoi Kusama, with a rich array of works on display, including a fascinating mirror room. 🌟The park itself has many art areas and a small art gallery, and the treetop walkway is also quite interesting. There’s a installation space that opens every half hour, so make sure to ask about the next entry time in advance. 🌟I have to say, taking an Uber in Porto is really affordable; it only cost 4 euros to get here from the city! Not far away is the beach; you can take a taxi to spend some time by the sea after visiting, then take the bus back to the city. However, the food at the seaside restaurants is pretty average. #Porto #PortoTravel #Siza #YayoiKusama #ModernArt #ArtGallery #ArtExhibition
