Portugal | Non-Touristy Seafood Restaurant Recommendations 🤤🐙🍴

Centenário This seafood restaurant is located in Faro. We ordered the octopus seafood stew—note that it doesn’t come with rice! The portion was generous, with multiple thick, juicy pieces of octopus, and the broth was full of flavor! It was the best meal I had in Portugal. On Friday nights, they have Fado performances, Portugal’s famous traditional folk music. Attached the menu for reference. 📍 Address: Largo Terreiro do Bispo 4, Freguesia da Sé, Faro 8000-156, Portugal Cais na Preguiça This seafood restaurant is in Lisbon. We decided to try it after seeing its 4.7 ⭐ Google rating. We ordered seafood rice (arroz de marisco) and seafood soup with rice—both were delicious. However, the soup was thinner compared to the first restaurant, not as rich. The service was excellent—the waiter even served the rice for us! Compared to the other two, this one is more affordable, so it’s a great recommendation. 📍 Address: R. dos Bacalhoeiros 4C, 1100-070 Lisboa, Portugal Gaúcha This is another seafood restaurant in Lisbon. We originally wanted to try Maria Catita next door, but the line was too long. A staff member told us this place shares the same chefs. We ordered seafood soup with rice and grilled octopus. Compared to the others, the seafood soup portion was smaller, but still tasty. The grilled octopus was amazing—tender and flavorful. Highly recommend! If you can’t get into Maria Catita, give this place a try! 📍 Address: R. dos Bacalhoeiros 260, 1100-389 Lisboa, Portugal #PortugueseCuisine #PortugalTravel #Faro #Lisbon #SeafoodRestaurant #PortugueseSeafood #SeafoodRice #FoodRecommendations
