💰 Pricey But Worth an Occasional Splurge! 🥪💫
I’d seen this place online and knew how popular it was in Florence. When I found out they opened a location in NYC, I’d been wanting to try it — and finally got the chance when we needed a quick bite before a Broadway show! 🎭✨ It was perfect: fast and super close to the theater. We stopped by around 5:30 PM on a Tuesday, and there were only 2–3 people. But by the time we left around 6:30, it was definitely getting crowded! 👥🏙️ The spot is pretty small, but there’s some seating where you can enjoy your sandwich. When you walk in, you order at the counter, then wait in the fridge-area vibe for your sandwich to be ready. 🥶🥙 I ordered La Schiacciata del Boss (Tuscan ham, feta, truffle) and added arugula. 🥖🧀🍖 This sandwich is HUGE — so definitely ask them to cut it in half upfront (they won’t do it unless you ask!). I’d say it’s too big for one person, but maybe not quite enough for two. My husband and I shared one, and we were tempted to order another… but knew we’d be way too full, so we held back! 😅 These sandwiches are pretty pricey — around $17 each — because all their ingredients are imported from Italy. 🇮🇹✈️ It’s seriously delicious and packed with high-quality flavors, but it’s definitely an occasional treat! #SplurgeWorthy #ItalianSandwich #ImportedIngredients #NYCEats #FlorenceInNYC
