Promise me you'll eat here when you're drunk in Napa.
It’s been a while, but I’ve been organizing my photos and finally wanted to share this gem 💎… This is a Spanish restaurant in Napa that I absolutely adore – a little hidden treasure! Since Spanish tapas are small-portioned, we ordered a lot… which is perfect for someone like me who wants to try everything but can’t eat too much at once! 🐟 Flounder Ceviche: Citrus-marinated flounder with jicama & avocado. You can always trust ceviche! I’m so curious what Spaniards put in this—it’s tangy and spicy, almost Thai-inspired, but with a much creamier texture. 🍞 Boquerones: Spanish white anchovies, sliced egg & remoulade on grilled bread. I’m usually not big on anchovies, but the bread was so crispy and delicious! The anchovies were salty and umami, and paired with the smooth remoulade, it was a unique experience. 🦞 Lobster Paella: Bomba rice cooked in shrimp & lobster stock, topped with a whole lobster tail. LOVED this! The portion was just right, and that entire lobster tail though… so good! 🍤 Gambas al Ajillo: Fresh Gulf shrimp with garlic, Pequin chili & smoky Pimentón. Garlic shrimp heaven! It looked small but had around six decent-sized shrimp inside 🤩. They had a subtle grilled flavor and were swimming in this gorgeous garlicky sauce… amazing! 🐚 Mussels – I always order mussels out because cleaning them at home is such a hassle 😅. Theirs were tender, fresh, and perfectly portioned for two. Honestly… after a day of wine tasting in Napa, doesn’t it sound perfect to snap some cute photos and treat yourself at this lovely restaurant? 📸✨ 🏠 Zuzu 📍 829 Main St, Napa, CA 94559 #Foodie #Napa #SanFranciscoEats #BayAreaFoodGuide #SpanishFood #NapaEats #TapasLover #BayAreaFoodie
