Providence, Rhode Island Day 3 🚆🍛🛍️
After two days in Boston, took the train to Providence! Lunch at SOTT – Korean Cuisine 🇰🇷 📍333 Westminster St Huge portions, affordable, and super filling! Great value for money. 😋 Chicken Gangjeong Tender fried chicken, but the pieces were pretty big. Would be easier to eat if cut smaller. Bulgogi Sotbap Set & Jeyuk Sotbap Set Each set comes with rice, meat, side dishes, and soup. Bulgogi: Beef was a bit overcooked but still tasty. Jeyuk: Spicy stir-fried pork—perfect for those who like mild heat! 🌶️ Soup Options: Bean Paste Stew or Kimchi Stew. A bit salty, but full of tofu and veggies—great with rice. You can add hot tea to make a porridge with the leftover crispy rice, but we were too full to try! 🍚🍲 Drinks: Strawberry Refresher: Just strawberry + club soda. Matcha Yuzu: Not special, but not bad either. Then headed to Providence Place to escape the heat—OMG, it was so hot outside! 🥵☀️ Did some mall roaming and found a Pop Mart and Gong Cha. 🛍️🧋 Dinner at Palo – Spanish Tapas 🇪🇸 📍3 Steeple St Already packed when we arrived, so we sat at the bar. Still cozy! Corn Ribs: Grilled corn with butter flavor—fun to nibble! 🌽 Tomato Bread: Toasted bread with tomato paste—like salsa, a bit tangy. The red one was better. Chorizo: Spanish sausage, mildly spicy. Strange at first, but grew on me. Braised Short Ribs: Unfortunately, not a fan. Meat was tough, sauce was meh, potatoes weren’t great either. Dry Style Cocktail: Looked pretty but didn’t taste good—ended up being comped. 🍹 Pomegranate (Non-alcoholic): Much better than the Dry Style! Compared to NYC, the servers here were really nice! 👏 #FoodAndFun #RhodeIsland #Boston #TravelUSA #FoodExploration #Providence #ShortGetaway #FoodReview #LifeInTheUS #BostonEats
