Public: One Visit Is Enough, or Maybe None at All (3)🌟
Lacking in Amenities 🍃🌸 I usually travel with all my own supplies 90% of the time. But that day, I just happened to forget my makeup remover wipes. And guess what? This hotel didn't have any. (Even a Residence Inn in the middle of nowhere in Massachusetts has them, for crying out loud!) It's okay if they don't offer them for free. But they claimed to have a self - service amenity room at the end of the hallway, where you can just take whatever you need. There's even a vending machine in there. 🍃🌸 But when I checked, most of the baskets were empty. I even went to two other floors to see if it was just my floor that was out of luck. Sadly, the other floors were just as empty. I tried calling, but no one answered. So I had to go downstairs to the front desk and explain what I needed. After a long wait, all I got was a towel. 😢 But It's Not All Bad 🍃🌸 The room is small. I mean, rooms in New York are generally small, including The Edition. But Public is on the smaller side. The view from the window isn't anything special, but it's not suffocating either. 🍃🌸You also have to bring your own bottle to get water. It's not like you're going to die of thirst. This hotel is more suitable for those who agree with the self - service and eco - friendly concepts. #NewYork 🗽
