Puppy's European Adventure in Paris, France πŸΆπŸ—Ό

We embarked on our journey from the UK, flying from Manchester to Paris Charles de Gaulle Airport. Before departure, we had Happy checked at pet4home in Manchester and obtained a health certificate (which is only valid for ten days, so it's best to fly immediately after getting it). Also, don't forget to vaccinate against rabies at least 20 days in advance. Upon landing at Charles de Gaulle, we began our French adventure! Traveling with Your Dog We contacted our airline (Air France) in advance to arrange for Happy to travel in the cabin, which was very convenient. Make sure to contact them two or three days before your flight! For those with a car, the Euro Tunnel is an option πŸš„. On our return, we took a taxi from Calais in France to Folkestone in the UK (the Euro Tunnel takes about forty minutes, and then you can take the train straight to London). The driver will take you to the pet reception where they check your documents and ensure your pet has been dewormed within the last 24 hours before you can return to the UK. The cost for this journey is roughly Β£400-Β£550, which is a bit pricey. Traveling in France with Your Dog France is a very dog-friendly country, and many places are accessible with your pet. Taxis are also generally accommodating, though in Paris, it can be a bit crowded and challenging to hail a cab. The Eiffel Tower is truly beautiful, and there are many professional photographers with balloons at the base, which makes for some great photos. We also took a photo in front of the Arc de Triomphe, although we didn't go up to see the view. Dog-Friendly Hotels in France We chose the Pullman Montparnasse in Paris, which opened in 2021 and is very new! It's also pet-friendly, although the pet fee was 50 euros per night, which is quite expensive for Parisian standards. The rooftop bar at the hotel offers views of the Eiffel Tower, making it worth the price. #TravelingWithPets #FranceTravel #TourWithPuppy
