Quetzal | Who wouldn’t be mesmerized by this bone marrow🥹
This year’s Michelin-starred restaurants have been so tough to book! With a mindset of "Even if we end up with just one star, it’s worth a try," we ended up at a fantastic spot! 🥢 【EMPANADA OAXAQUEÑA】 Highly recommended lamb tacos that are incredibly tender and completely free of that gamey flavor. They have a slight kick of spice on their own, with an accompanying tangy and spicy sauce you can add as you like. The radish slaw on the side was a bit of an acquired taste. 🌮 【MUSHROOM】 We ordered mushrooms, which paired really well with the main course of Pork. This was a recommendation from the server—thumbs up for that! 🍄 【PORK SECRETO AL PASTOR】 Grilled pork + grilled pineapple + caramelized onions. The pork was exceptional—juicy with a tenderness similar to pork neck. The sweet pineapple 🍍 added a delightful touch! 【BONE MARROW & WILD ARGENTINIAN SHRIMP】 Bone marrow and Argentine red shrimp—this was a standout dish! Normally, I find bone marrow a bit too fatty, but with the extra order of corn tortillas, it was perfect. The honey glaze gave it a unique sweet flavor. 🦐 The shrimp was fresh and had a delicious grilled aroma, plus it was perfectly tender. ————— Overall! This place doesn’t disappoint. The environment is average, service is standard, but the dishes have some truly impressive moments! 🌟 #TorontoLife #RestaurantReviews #DateNightSpots #HiddenGems #FoodRecommendations ### Name: Quetzal Address: 419 College St, Toronto, ON Type: Restaurant ###
