What an intriguing hotel! It’s dark, moody, and full of character. The basement gave me subtle vibes of a European youth hostel (thinking of Bob’s Youth Hostel in Amsterdam… 🎒✈️). The hallways leading to the rooms are painted black and dimly lit—adding to the mysterious charm. Yes, the room was particularly small—but hey, that’s pretty standard for New York! 🏙️🛏️ The neighborhood, though—absolutely fascinating! I walked over 20,000 steps exploring the East Village and Chelsea. 🚶♂️💨 Caught the U.S. Open at a sports bar right on the corner 🎾🍻, and discovered some lovely cafés close by.
