Real-Tested New York Must-Queue Foods (1)
๐ช Emilioโs Ballato A favorite of Taylor Swift, Justin Bieber, and Rihanna ๐ 55 E Houston St, New York โ ๏ธ Heads up for those planning to dine here: This place doesn't accept reservations. You'll need to wait in line outside without a queue number. You can only be seated when your entire party arrives. The evening queues can be massive, often starting at a 3-hour wait. ๐๐ธ If you're determined to try it, head there before the 12:00 PM opening to avoid the crowds. Last time I visited, there were many people who had just rushed over after attending Taylor Swift's Toronto concert. ๐๐ธ The prices are on the higher side, with an average cost of around $70 per person. Ordered three dishes: ๐๐ธBurrata Caprese | A nice appetizer with a good flavor. If you like prosciutto, the spicy kick from the chili inside is a plus. Highly recommended. Pasta Spc | The pasta has a nice bite to it, and the sauce is well-seasoned. It pairs well with the complimentary bread. A safe bet. Parmagiana | The signature dish is a large breaded chicken cutlet topped with Italian ๐ sauce, served without pasta. It's quite filling, especially for guys. The interior decor is very atmospheric. You can see many photos of celebrities with the owner inside. It's a family-run restaurant. ๐๐ธ The owner was sitting at the table behind us, taking a break and occasionally glancing over, probably thinking, "Hurry up and eat, stop taking photos!" ๐ The overall service was pretty good. #NewYork ๐
