Real-Tested New York Must-Queue Foods (2)
π₯ Fish Cheeks My friend says this place has some of the best Thai food in New York. π 55 Bond St, New York, NY 10012 The average cost is $75, which is pretty reasonable. It's located near the Kith Men store in Soho. ππΈWe ordered two drinks: Thai Iced Tea and Pandan. Both are solid choices and really yummy. π For the main dishes: Pork Cheeks | An appetizer. The pork was a bit on the tougher side, and the accompanying sauce was a bit salty. It's okay for a small dip. Overall, it's just average. Steamed Fish | Highly recommended. The fish is just the right size. The bones are removed before it's served. ππΈ It's definitely a rice-friendly dish. The fish is tender, and it mostly relies on the soulful, tangy soup that it's served with. It's very refreshing. Crab Fried Rice | This is probably a staple. It pairs well with dried fish. Highly recommended. ππΈCoconut Crab Curry | Not recommended. Skip it. Even as a Chinese person, I found it too spicy. It's just average. The lady next door ordered it, and she was blushing from the heat. She didn't eat much. #GlobalFoodieSquad #ChristmasDining π
