Really, truly, incredibly delicious Faro Portuguese cuisine at A Venda
🌟A Venda Before heading to Faro, I did some restaurant research on Google Maps and online. I saw a review saying that A Venda was the best restaurant they had eaten at in Portugal. 🌟At first, I thought it might be an exaggeration (my bad), but after the first bite of duck rice, I was completely won over. The staff member, a cute girl, mentioned that their portions are on the smaller side and suggested ordering two dishes per person. But because it was so good, I ended up adding another dish. 🌟Must-order Duck rice: 🦆 The dish has a luscious texture, and I could taste the ‘wok hei’ in a Western meal, haha. The duck fat’s unique aroma is intoxicating, the duck meat is tender and not at all gamey. 🌟Rabbit meat: 🐰 The tangy sauce coated every piece of rabbit meat, which was very refreshing. The potatoes were cooked soft and flavorful. Although the staff said their portions are small, I suspect it’s because it’s so delicious that it just doesn’t feel like enough! 🌟Dessert Chocolate fondant The texture is moist and delicate, and the sauce and peanut crumble on top are salty, which I found a bit too salty, so I pushed them aside. #Portugal #RestaurantRecommendation #Faro #Lisbon #EuropeanTravel #PortugueseCuisine
