Reborn from the Ashes: Notre-Dame de Paris🌟🔥🕊️

An unforgettable sight: I visited the famous Notre-Dame Cathedral in early 2019. Then, a devastating fire had me worried sick about her. After years of restoration, Notre-Dame has reopened! During the 2025 Spring Festival, my trip to Paris included a revisit to Notre-Dame, and I was truly awestruck by the restoration! 😮✨ Highlights of the Restoration: The Spire Rises Again, Taller and More Beautiful! 🗼 The spire, about 96 meters tall, which collapsed in the fire, has been rebuilt. The new spire is a near-replica of the 19th-century design, with a golden rooster weather vane gleaming in the sunlight. 🌞 The Stained Glass Windows Get a New Upgrade 🌈 The rose windows have always been the soul of Notre-Dame. After the restoration, not only have the stained glass windows been restored to their original appearance, but they also incorporate new light and shadow techniques. When the sunlight shines through, the entire church is filled with an interplay of light and shadow, as if you’re in a dream world! 🌟🌼 The Interior Decoration Is More Luxurious 🏰 The restored interior decoration uses more precious materials. The murals, sculptures, and chandeliers are all brand new, with details so exquisite they’ll take your breath away! Everywhere you look, you can feel the weight of history and the perfect fusion of art. 💎👑 Opening Hours: Monday to Friday: 7:50 to 19:00, Thursdays until 22:00 Saturday and Sunday: 8:15 to 19:30, with Mass early on Sundays. Hours may vary on specific dates, please check the official announcements. (Entry stops 30 minutes before closing) Costs: Visiting Notre-Dame Cathedral is free Prayer candles: 2€ 🛍️ The souvenir shop opens at 9:30 and there’s usually a queue. Reservation Methods: Through the official APP ‘Notre-Dame de Paris’ or the official website, reservations open two days in advance. Tips: There’s usually a long queue to visit Notre-Dame. If you don’t want to wait too long, it’s best to make a reservation early. There are two lines at the entrance, one for those with reservations and one for those without. The line for those without reservations is longer, while the reservation line moves quickly, with barely anyone in it. However, making a reservation is like getting concert tickets – if you can’t get one, you can choose to go early in the morning when it opens, or around noon when there are fewer people. I went at noon without a reservation and didn’t have to queue at all, but by the time I finished my visit an hour later, the line for those without reservations was quite long.
