Recommendations for affordable French restaurants in Paris!
📍Paris Follie's, 74 Av. Kléber, 75116 Paris It's very close to the Arc de Triomphe and the Eiffel Tower.🌮🌮 During our three-day trip to Paris, we ate here twice. The service is excellent, and the landlady greets everyone with great energy. 🍑 There are many local people dining here, and the prices are very reasonable. Highly recommended.🍧 Escargots with butter: 7€ for 7. It was my first time trying them, and also the only time.🍰 I won't comment on the taste, but dipping the free baguette in the snail sauce was quite delicious.🍢🍢 Steak: 13.5€. We had it twice, and it was tasty. Recommended.🍊 Confit duck: 13€. It's a French specialty and worth a try!🍔🍔 Raw salmon: 14€. It was quite fresh, but there was no wasabi, so you have to eat it as is. The taste was still good though.🍕 Chocolate ice cream dessert: 5€. A large plate comes with one ice cream scoop and a small lava chocolate cake. Not really recommended. You can definitely find better desserts at pastry shops outside, so no need to order desserts at the restaurant.🍸🍸 Free ice water and baguettes are provided. Two people spent 55€ for two meals. 🍙🍙 Bistrot Victoires, 6 Rue de la Vrillière, 75001 It's very close to the Louvre and Notre-Dame de Paris. 🥛 🧀🧀The menu is almost identical to the previous restaurant, and the prices are similar. There are also many local diners, but the service isn't as good as the first one.🍔 Cheese and onion soup: 7€. It's also a classic French appetizer, with bread included. You can give it a try; the cheese flavor is strong.🍏🍏 Foie gras platter: 13.5€, which is the same price as a main course. It comes with vegetables, ham slices, and a duck leg. I couldn't eat this dish at all because the foie gras taste was too strong, but those interested can give it a try.🍿🍿 Smoked steak: 13.5€. We ordered two steaks here, which were tender and delicious. The steak is served with burning thyme, giving it a unique smoky flavor. Highly recommended! Both restaurants have excellent steaks, so they're a must-try!🍗 Free ice water and baguettes are still provided here.🍮 Two people ordered 4 dishes and spent 48.70€ – we ordered too much.🥧 📍Pastry shop Pierre Hermé, a macaron store on the Champs-Élysées. It's said to be the top macaron shop in France. 🥙🥙 Small macarons are 2.9€ each, and large ones are 7€ each. I bought a lot of small ones and ate them before I had a chance to take photos. 🥓🥓 They were delicious, highly recommended.🚰 📍Ritz Paris Le Comptoir Cambon, 38 Rue Cambon, 75001 Paris🍎🍎 It's said to be one of Paris' top exquisite pastry shops. The decor and displays inside feel very upscale. 🍾🍾 We had the long plain croissant and chocolate-filled croissant, 5€ each. They have a strong buttery flavor and the crust is extremely crispy. We also tried the classic madeleine, which is also 5€.🍛 I bought the classic and more affordable bread. The shop also has many exquisite cream desserts, mostly ranging from 15€ to 60€. 🍉🍉 They were too expensive, so we didn't try them, but they probably taste good.🥥🥥 #FrenchCuisine #HiddenGemRestaurants #ParisFood #ParisRestaurantHopping
