It was the ideal escape to unwind and recharge! 🍜 Starting the Day at Wong's Congee We kicked off the morning with a steaming bowl of pork liver and lean meat congee at Wong's Congee. Fully fueled, we hit the road! 🚗 1 Hour 15 Minutes to Orangeville’s Main Street A smooth 75-minute drive from Toronto brought us to Orangeville’s Main Street—a peaceful, lively hub that instantly felt like a breath of fresh air. 🌽 Farm Market Fun We arrived just in time for the local farm market! Stalls were packed with: Fresh produce (think crisp veggies, juicy fruits) Smoked meats & sausages Homemade jams (my friend grabbed a spicy strawberry jam!) Sunflower seedlings (so cute!) Apple chips (naturally dried with lemon—so addictive!) 🏬 Exploring Main Street This street has everything—dentists, salons, libraries, tax services, painting classes, churches, and even a clock tower (small-town staple!). Hidden Gem: A designer furniture store clearing out inventory (moving soon!). I scored a Rococo-style chair for just $50! 🍽 Lunch at Bluebird Café A must-visit! Everything’s made fresh in-house. Salad with avocado lemon dressing (THE BEST I’ve ever had—we asked for extra!) Chicken liver pâté (looked like chocolate ice cream!) with flatbread, veggies, and pickles. So good! 🍰 Sweet Treats at Wicked Bakery A local favorite! The bakery smelled heavenly, and the display case was full of temptations. We tried a few cakes—all delicious! 🌟 Why Visit?
