Restaurant Design at Mandarin Oriental Paris

✨Intentions The Mandarin Oriental Paris is located at 251 Rue Saint-Honoré, right in the heart of Paris, just a few steps away from Place Vendôme and its famous jewelry boutiques. The hotel is owned by Société Foncière Lyonnaise. Jean-Michel Wilmotte was responsible for renovating the former office building, transforming it into this highly modern hotel surrounded by a large courtyard garden.✨ ✨Upon entering, our first impression was one of astonishment, as it’s rare to experience such luxurious natural beauty in the center of a bustling city. It felt enchanting. This sensation is recreated in new ways across every area we designed. Each space greets visitors with a specific emotion and curated experience.✨ ✨Adjacent to the garden is a sunlit restaurant open from morning to evening, later named Camélia. Across from it, Bar 8 sits under the shade of its trees. Here, nature meets flowing mineral elements, creating a surreal and sensual atmosphere. In a more secluded area, around a small courtyard, we designed a restaurant for Thierry Marx. Due to its unconventional volume, it becomes an experimental space centered around the use of fabric as a building material.✨ #HotelDiningDesign #HotelInteriorDesign #DesignCaseStudy #Design
