Restaurant Hunting | Affordable and Delicious Restaurant Recommendations in Southern France, Cannes

❣️Because I used to study here, I still feel comfortable returning to the South of France after going to Paris. This time, I came back to attend a baby shower party for a friend in Cannes and tried a French restaurant that I had passed by many times without eating at, as well as an Italian-French restaurant in the old town alleys of Antibes. ❣️There's a large restaurant in Cannes with a 45-year history. The interior decoration feels vintage, with red tablecloths. As soon as you sit down, there are many French appetizers and pre-dinner drinks. What's special is that they don't serve à la carte; instead, there are two set menus, one for 38 euros and another for 55 euros. The appetizers include the salad in the picture, sausages, and homemade meat jelly (which is something you can spread on a baguette slice, like the things we eat during apéro). We chose the 38 euro menu, where you can choose between meat or fish. I chose the whitefish with butter sauce, and my boyfriend had the French red wine braised pork kidney, which was hilarious haha.
