π· Restaurant Week: Roast Suckling Pig at Michelin-Starred Tuome π
A while ago, I came across a video of roast suckling pig from China, and it made me so hungry! Tonight, I finally got to satisfy that craving with a friend at Tuome, a unique restaurant that blends Cantonese and Western cuisines. I heard their roast suckling pig is amazing, so we couldn't resist giving it a try. π We were lucky to visit during Restaurant Week, where we got a three-course meal for just $60. What a steal! π Every dish was delicious, but my favorite had to be the chicken liver. π½ It was incredibly rich and sweet, and the bread it came with was just perfect for soaking up all the flavors. π The devil eggs were also fantastic, with a well-balanced sauce that added a nice kick. Since so many people recommended the quail, we decided to order one as well. It was beautifully roasted, tender and flavorfulβdefinitely worth the extra order. π And then, the star of the show: the roast suckling pig. The skin was crispy, the pork was fragrant, and it came with a side of sesame sauce noodles. π The noodles were a delightful surprise, perfectly cooked and full of flavor. It was a carb-lover's dream come true! π½ We wrapped up the meal with a dessert platter featuring banana pudding and chocolate mousse. Both were perfectly sweet without being too heavy, making for a delightful end to our meal. π° Overall, I think Tuome is definitely worth a visit, especially during Restaurant Week when you can enjoy Michelin-quality food at such a great price. It's a fantastic experience! π π Address: 536 E 5th St, New York, NY 10009 #NewYork π½
